Business Development Director

We are seeking a dynamic and highly skilled Business Development Director to join our growing team at Le Must, LLC, a leading provider of luxury single-serve items. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving the company's growth in the luxury hospitality sector by expanding business opportunities, managing a sales team, and leading strategic initiatives aimed at building long-term, profitable relationships with luxury hospitality clients and premium establishments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute comprehensive business development strategies to expand the company's footprint in the luxury hospitality sector, in the Americas & Europe, targeting upscale hotels, resorts, and other luxury hospitality clients.

  • Sales Team Management: Lead, manage, and mentor a team of two salespersons, providing guidance and fostering a collaborative environment that promotes revenue growth and high performance.

  • Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research to identify emerging opportunities, understand customer needs, and adjust strategies accordingly to optimize revenue potential in a competitive market.

  • Sales Cycle Oversight: Oversee the complete sales process, from lead generation and prospecting to contract negotiations, ensuring a seamless transition from client acquisition to post-sales relationship management.

  • Client & Partner Collaboration: Collaborate with Group Purchasing Organizations (GPOs), major hotel chains, Executive Chefs, and Food & Beverage Teams to expand market penetration and tailor solutions to meet the needs of luxury establishments.

  • CRM Utilization: Implement and maintain CRM tools to manage client relationships, track sales activities, forecast trends, and ensure the sales pipeline is healthy and active.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing, product development, and operations teams to ensure cohesive efforts and the effective execution of business strategies.

  • Performance Reporting: Regularly report on business development initiatives, sales performance, and pipeline health to senior management, providing recommendations for improvements and adjustments to business strategies.

  • Representation at Industry Events: Represent the company at trade shows, conferences, and networking events to enhance brand awareness and forge strategic business relationships.

 

Required Qualifications:

  • Education: Master of Business Administration (MBA) from an accredited institution or foreign equivalent.

  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales, customer success, marketing, or business development

  • Leadership: Experience in managing and mentoring teams, particularly sales professionals, to achieve business objectives.

  • Industry Knowledge: In-depth understanding of the luxury hospitality industry, competitive landscape, and customer needs, knowledge of global culinary trends and luxury gourmet products.

  • Skills: - Strong leadership and organizational abilities.- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills. - Proficiency in using CRM systems and sales analytics tools.- Strategic thinker with a focus on long-term goals and profitability. - Experience managing complex sales cycles with high-end clients. - Ability to collaborate across departments and represent the brand at international trade shows and industry events.

  • Language: Fluent in English. Additional language skills (e.g., French, Spanish) are a plus but not required.

 

Compensation:

  • $188,000 per year
